We are MOLS MAGAZINE, the cultural and documentary publication based in Berlin. Born out of a city shaped by contradiction, resistance, and reinvention, we dedicate ourselves to exploring the layered realities of contemporary life. Our focus moves fluidly between mainstream discourse and the voices that often go unheard—those found in the margins, the underground, or in quiet defiance. Each issue is both a document and a dialogue. Through interviews, visual essays, and collaborative works, we engage with people and ideas that challenge fixed perspectives. Rather than offering conclusions, we aim to open up space for observation, doubt, and reflection. We believe that culture is not a surface, but a structure—something to be studied, questioned, and reimagined.
